The Altura™ Stent Graft System from Lombard Medical is a next-generation endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) solution designed for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). The Aortic Stent Grafts (Proximal Components)
Implanted in the infrarenal abdominal aorta, just below the renal arteries, the aortic components provide the primary seal to exclude the aneurysm from systemic blood flow.
Key Design Features
D-shaped configuration: Two identical D-shaped proximal stents deployed side-by-side. Quadrafix™ sealing technology: Ensures reliable infrarenal sealing and fixation at four distinct points. Proximal sealing: Isolates the aneurysm at its origin for effective exclusion. Procedural Role

Iliac Stent Grafts (Distal Components)
Placed in the common iliac arteries, they extend from the distal end of the aortic stents to the iliac bifurcation, ensuring blood flow continuity and distal stability.
Key Design Features
Round, tubular structure optimized for iliac anatomy. Retrograde deployment (distal to proximal) for high placement accuracy. Radiopaque markers to facilitate fluoroscopic guidance. Engineered for distal sealing while maintaining perfusion to the lower limbs. Procedural Role
Second components deployed. Provide distal extension, structural support, and complete the aneurysm exclusion pathway.
Modular Design for Anatomical Adaptability
Both aortic and iliac components are fully modular, enabling precise adaptation to patient-specific anatomies:
Aortic: Two identical D-stents can be adjusted independently during deployment. Iliac: Length and position can be customized according to individual iliac artery dimensions.
