The Altura™ Aortic Stent Graft from Lombard Medical is a next-generation endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) device engineered for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). It features a unique bilateral modular design and ultra-low profile to streamline complex aortic procedures while maximizing patient access and outcomes.

The Aortic Stent Grafts

Implanted in the proximal abdominal aorta, just below the renal arteries. The thoracic endograft’s role is to seal and exclude the aneurysm from the blood flow at the source.

Design features

• D-shaped configuration: Two D-shaped proximal components deployed side-by-side.
• Designed for infrarenal neck sealing with Quadrafix™ sealing technology for fixation and sealing at four points.
• Proximal sealing to isolate the aneurysm at its origin.

Procedural role

• First components to be deployed.
• Establishes the initial seal and fixation in the aneurysm repair.

Both components (aortic and iliac) are modular and designed to accommodate different anatomies:

• Aortic: Two identical D-stents can be adjusted during deployment.
• Iliac: Can be customized in length and position depending on the anatomy of the iliac arteries.
