The Altura™ Aortic Stent Graft from Lombard Medical is a next-generation endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) device engineered for the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). Iliac Stent Grafts

Placed in the common iliac arteries, extending from the distal end of the aortic stents to the internal/external iliac bifurcation. The thoracic endograft’s role is to continue the blood flow and maintain structural integrity beyond the aneurysm.

Design features

  • Round, tubular design to fit the iliac arteries.
  • Deployed retrogradely (distal to proximal) for precise placement at the iliac bifurcation.
  • Equipped with radiopaque markers for accurate positioning.
  • Focused on distal sealing and maintaining flow to the lower limbs.

Procedural role

  • Second components to be deployed.
  • Provide distal extension and support, completing the exclusion of the aneurysm and restoring blood flow continuity.

Both components (aortic and iliac) are modular and designed to accommodate different anatomies:

  • Aortic: Two identical D-stents can be adjusted during deployment.
  • Iliac: Can be customized in length and position depending on the anatomy of the iliac arteries.
