Scitech – Solaris, flexible self-expanding stent
Flexible, Self-Expanding Nitinol Stent for Precise Peripheral Vascular Placement
The Scitech Solaris is a flexible self-expanding endograft, comprised of a thin multi-direction durable electrospinning PTFE membrane encapsulating a Nitinol stent structure. The device has been engineered to effectively cover and instantaneously seal off diseased tissue with a higher multidirectional resistance force, providing an endoluminal bypass option for physicians faced with complex lesions. Its design provides high flexibility without compromising the requirement length, balanced radial force and low shortening rate. The pull-back hydrophilic delivery system provides superior navigability and its anti-jumping system guarantees accurate deployment during the procedure.

Specs
-
Laser-cut from Nitinol alloy, the Solaris stent offers high flexibility due to its cell design, which maintains spacing between cells. This design ensures adaptability to complex anatomies while providing balanced radial force and a low shortening rate.
-
Encapsulated both internally and externally with an ultra-thin polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane produced via electrospinning. This multidirectional fiber arrangement grants the membrane high elasticity and strength, allowing it to expand up to 3.9 times its initial length before rupture, ensuring effective sealing and resilience.
-
Equipped with three tantalum markers at each end, positioned 2 mm from the PTFE edge, to enhance visibility during fluoroscopic procedures.
-
Features a hydrophilic, pull-back delivery system designed for superior navigability. The system includes an anti-jumping mechanism to prevent unintended stent movement during release.
-
Available in diameters ranging from 5 to 9 mm and lengths from 40 to 100 mm, accommodating various peripheral vascular anatomies.
-
Indicated for the treatment of peripheral vascular diseases, including in-stent restenosis, arterial dissections, and occlusions, particularly in the venous outflow of hemodialysis patients with arteriovenous (AV) fistulas or grafts.
-
Received CE Mark approval for use in treating complex peripheral vascular diseases. Full Specs
